SHELLEY – Shelley Russet’s Varsity Football team recognized its senior players at Senior Night last Friday before playing the Pocatello Thunder.

Shelley Russet’s Football team played their last home game last Friday, October 10, against the Pocatello Thunder, losing their second straight game 42 to 28.  The now 5-2 Russets take on the Blackfoot Broncos, Friday, October 15, at 7 p.m., in Blackfoot.

Before the game, the team recognized 15 senior players for their dedication and athleticism to Russet football.  The graduating seniors represent almost half of the 35-member football team.

At the same time, the Shawn Eaton Memorial Scholarship award was presented to Senior Cody Bowman.  The $500 college award is given to one who does ordinary things in extraordinary ways.  Congratulations to Cody Bowman for receiving this award of excellence.
