The Bingham County Sheriff’s Log Nov. 18-24
This log is only a partial report of all incidences reported to the Bingham County Sheriff’s Office. It contains only those incidences that occur in northern Bingham County. In this area, the Sheriff’s Department handles dozens of emergency calls each week, deploying police, fire, and medical services. Names and specific addresses have been omitted. The following are most of the incidents reported and responded to by Bingham County Deputies between Nov. 18 through the 24th.
Nov. 18
9:59 p.m. Deputies stopped a southbound vehicle on I-15 and arrested a man for possession of a controlled substance and for an outstanding warrant with the US Marshalls.
Nov. 19
10:06 a.m. A person living on 1200 North, east of Shelley, reported they had received pornography via text on their phone.
8:27 p.m. A deputy made a welfare check on an individual who passed away northeast of Shelley.
Nov. 20
10:58 a.m. An individual at North Bingham County Park reported he found a gun case, but no gun. He said he would be in the area fishing for a while.
4:41 p.m. Animal Complaint – 2 missing large, black sheep doodles, one male, one female, but neutered, both chipped, were found along 1400 North, northeast of Shelley.
Nov. 22
1.29 a.m.        Accident – A person called saying they hit a deer near 800 East and 1600 North. The deer was still alive and was in the middle of the road. The person who hit the deer had moved off the roadway. No injuries were reported.
1:33 p.m.        Animal Complaint – An individual reported two cows on the loose around 1100 East and 1100 North. The cattle had no markings or tags.Â
3:04 p.m. A deputy responded to a request for assistance on northbound I-15 at mile marker 99.
Nov. 23
10:57 a.m. A person reported someone had blown up their mailbox along 1600 North, northeast of Shelley.
Nov. 24
9:34 a.m. In Woodville, a person reported a female on Instagram threatened her, saying she was going to show her only fans account to her family.
7:26 p.m. Animal Complaint – A person in the Goshen Townsite reported a dog was barking continuously, and it sounded like something was wrong with it.
10:50 p.m. A man living in Green Acres, east of Shelley, reported two subjects drove up to his garage and attempted to gain entry before leaving.
