Vehicle crash near Goshen substation cuts power to several thousand homes in Shelley area
UPDATE – According to the Bingham County Sheriff's Office, the individual driving the vehicle that hit the transmission was not under the influence of any alcohol or drug at the time of the accident. Nature Path repair slowed by public work’s distractions
SHELLEY – The nature path along the river has been under construction for almost a year. Shelley's public work's department is working to repair it. The city of Shelley tore up the nature path and the land adjacent to it last December to install an irrigation line to their property west of the area. That construction removed all of the landscaping between the path and Fir Street and removed the path's surface in two sections.  …

Annual Little Buckaroo Rodeo brings out hundreds of little buckaroos
FIRTH – The 55th annual Little Buckaroo Rodeo brought hundreds of spectators out to watch hundreds of young cowboys and cowgirls compete. The Little Buckaroo Rodeo was held in Firth last weekend on August 6 and 7 at the Riverview Arena.  Nestled in cottonwood trees next to the Snake River, the arena was packed each night with patrons who watched 378 children participate in the children-only rodeo. Two people injured when a motorcycle collides with two vehicles
BONNEVILLE COUNTY – A motorcyclist and vehicle driver were injured after the motorcycle driver struck a Jeep Wrangler while passing another vehicle southbound on U.S. Highway 91, north of Shelley. On August 13, 2021, at 5:43 p.m., Idaho State Police responded to an injury crash on southbound U.S. Highway 91at milepost 122, which is north of Shelley.  According to the Idaho State Police news release, Robert Dietz, 63, of Chico, California, was traveling southbound on …
