Shelley Police Log: Dec 1-7
The Shelley Police Department handles dozens of emergency calls each week, deploying Police, fire, and medical services. Community Pioneer omits individuals’ names and specific addresses. Otherwise, the incident log is reported as written. The following are most of the incidents reported and responded to by the Shelley Police Department between Dec 1-7.
Dec 1
12:41 p.m. Animal Complaint — N Holmes Ave — German Shepherd running loose in the area. Had a collar but no tags. Possibly belongs to the end apartment, unknown names, and they did not answer the door.
6:46 p.m. Request Assistance — E Center St — RP is extremely irritated and demanding the chief of Shelley.
6:51 p.m. Civil Complaint — E Center St — RP owns a 4-plex and renting it out via Air B-N-B. Having problems with them violating rules and damaging property. Wants to kick them out tonight, but needs to know if they can legally do so.
7:33 p.m. Battery — S Park Ave — RP reporting he was attacked by (name removed). She punched him in the face.
Dec 2
7:31 a.m. Civil Stand-by — E Center St — Requested an officer for a civil stand-by, meet with (name removed) at the above location, for an Air BNB eviction. The people have to be out by 8 a.m.
2:26 p.m. Suspicious Circumstance — E Oak St — RP states that someone came to the residence stating that he was from ROck Mountain Power, but is shirt says Verizon. Left 2 ago east on foot.
4:24 p.m. Accident — E Maple St — RP states that someone hit her vehicle last night at the above location. RP at the Shelley PD in a grey Ford Focus to meet with an officer.
6:18 p.m. Civil Stand-by — Opal Ct — RP requesting a civil stand-by while she attempts to assist her daughter (name removed) pick up her white Dodge truck from (name removed). RP is about 20 min out. THey’ll be in a grey Toyota Tundra and a White Pontiac.
6:58 p.m. Animal Complaint — S Milton Ave — RP reporting that there is a large black and brown dog running loose in the neighborhood. This has been an ongoing issue nad RP knows who the owner is. Requesting to speak to officers.
9:34 p.m. Welfare Check — W Pin St — RP requesting a welfare check on her 49 year old sister (name removed). RP spoke to her around 3:30 p.m. when (name removed) called the RP asking them to come get her. State she wanted a ride to the airport and the RP hasn’t heard from her since. RP is concerned that (name removed) “friend” (name removed) may have hurt her. THey have a history of domestics.
Dec 3
11:55 a.m. Wanted Subject (arrested) — Brent Way — (Name removed) is currently at the residence in a white passenger car.
5 p.m. Information — S Holmes Ave — Reference previous fraud from 11/08/2021 from RP at location, she has further information and also is seeking information about the event from officers.
5:51 p.m. Battery — W Fir St — In front of building G RP states there is a female (name removed) that is stating there are children covered in blood.

11:27 a.m. Welfare Check — W Fir St — Welfare check on juvenile daughter.
12:24 p.m. Assault — W Maple St — RP stating someone threatened to beat him up. Suspect is (name removed).
5:45 p.m. Petit Theft — Broulim’s — RP says manager chased a male with blonde curly hair and a blonde hair 6 feet tall approx 24 years old last seen wearing a black jacket.
6:11 p.m. Parking Complaint — Holley St — There is a tan GMC truck that does not belong to the RP that is blocking his driveway.

11:01 a.m. Information — Post Office — RP states that someone grabbed a package from a porch at 9:42 a.m. Unknown exact location. RP would like to speak with an officer.
11:47 a.m. Request Assistance — W Maple ST — RP states that they are having Eaton’s verify that a vehicle isn’t stolen that has been left in the parking lot. Toyota Camry (license plate number removed.)
Dec 7
3:39 p.m. Information — E Maple St — RP daughter left this morning around 10:30 a.m. Does not know what she was wearing, believes she’s on foot. Believes she does have her cell on her.
4:25 p.m. Welfare Check (unfounded) — W Maple St — 3rd party information that (name removed) is currently at the above location and believed to be battering the RP’s niece (name removed).
10:01 p.m. Wanted Subject (arrested) — W Oak St — Language barrier, sounds like domestic battery.
10:17 p.m. Disturb the Peace — W Maple St — Upstairs neighbors stomping all over and making noise. Says they are doing it on purpose.=
