Question of the Week: What was your most memorable Thanksgiving

SHELLEY — Community Pioneer hit the streets to find out some of your most memorable Thanksgivings. Here is what you told us:

Debbie Cox – Shelley

Going to my mom’s house in Bancroft, getting a Christmas tree, sledding, and playing games as a family.

Travis Adams – Shelley

We were traveling on a cruise to Egypt. Actually, on Thanksgiving Day, we were in Turkey. They even had Thanksgiving dinner on the ship.

Jerry Byington – Shelley

Probably when I was home, I got up early and went hunting deer hunting by myself, all alone upon Antelope Flats. It was covered with a foot-and-a-half of snow.

Woody Mecham Family – Shelley

There have been a lot. Probably our favorite was two years ago, having my wife’s sisters down from BYU-Idaho for Thanksgiving.

Betty Ann Bitter – Shelley

It was a redneck Thanksgiving. We went to my brother’s home in Mud Lake. While there, we ate and then went skeet shooting. We had relatives from Salt Lake and my children who had never shot a gun before. It was so much fun.

Spencer Oltmus – Idaho Falls

Five or six years ago, we had a Thanksgiving Day where it was so warm you could stand outside in a t-shirt.
