The Shelley Police Log: Nov. 12-18
The Shelley Police Department handles dozens of emergency calls each week deploying police, fire, and medical services. Names and specific addresses have been omitted. The following are most of the incidents reported and responded to by the Shelley Police Department between Nov. 12 through Nov. 18th.
Nov. 12
11:43 a.m. An officer made a welfare check on an individual’s girlfriend on W. Maple.
3:40 p.m. A tobacco violation (vaping incident) was reported at Shelley High School
3:51 p.m. A Two-vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of State Street and Locust with unknown injuries.
8:53 p.m. A welfare check was made on an individual who is disabled at W. Maple.
Nov. 13
10:19 a.m. An individual on S. Emerson called police stating he believes he has located part of a human jawbone. He would like to speak to an officer.
1:04 p.m. Traffic Complaint – An individual reported a driver in a grey Cadillac was swerving all over the roadway on N. State Street in Shelley.
8:29 p.m. Panic alarm at Good to Go on S. State Street.
Nov. 14
8:16 a.m. A person called asking an officer to come pick up an American flag that at fallen in the gutter.
11:27 a.m. Animal Complaint – A person on S. Holmes called to report their neighbor’s dog had been barking for 2 hours straight.
3:49 p.m. Panic alarm at Anytime Fitness on Anderson Street.
4:53 p.m. Traffic Complaint – An individual reported a juvenile was driving erratically through the neighborhood on Meadowlark Dr.
7:41 p.m. An officer discovered an unlocked door at the high school.
10:32 p.m. Disorderly Conduct –A person on S. Milton reported a family member was threatening to kill them.
Nov. 15
10:52 p.m. Suspicious Circumstances. An individual reported a suspicious vehicle in front of their mother’s residence on Berrett Avenue.
Nov. 16
8:50 a.m. Animal Complaint – A person on E. Maple requested to speak to an officer about her neighbor’s cats.
10:54 a.m. Disorderly Conduct – An individual on W. Fir called police to complain that a family member refused to leave their room and was being physically aggressive.
3:24 p.m. A request was made for a K9 to be sent to Shelley High School to search for drugs.
3:42 p.m. Drug paraphernalia was found at Shelley High School.
6:37 p.m. A welfare check was made on a person walking in the street where there is no sidewalk on N. State Street near Subway.
8:13 p.m. Harassment Complaint – An individual on S. Emerson complained her boyfriend was posting slanderous comments on social media and threatening to come to Idaho.
Nov. 17
11:10 a.m. Petit-Theft A theft was reported on N. State Street.
1:00 p.m. A person reported a reckless driver at the LDS Church on South Milton.
1:52 p.m. An individual on Wind River Drive reported he may have been a victim of identity theft after receiving a credit card in the mail.
1:58 p.m. An individual on W. Fir reported a person, whom they have a no-contact order against, was calling and texting them.
7:21 p.m. An officer was sent to a business on S. State Street because an unknown male kept hanging around in the store.
8:23 p.m. A person on West Fir called to complain about a driver who parked in a disabled parking spot without a placard. However, the driver left before the officer arrived.
8:41 p.m. Disorderly Conduct – An individual on N. Holmes reported her ex was being verbal with her and refusing to leave.
Nov. 18
11:04 p.m. A missing person was reported at Shelley High School.
