Artists wanted for Haunted Art Show and Wine Tasting

SHELLEY — Local artists have the chance to show off their work this October at the Haunted Art Show and Wine Tasting Fundraiser for the Shelley Supporters of the Arts.

About the Show

The Shelley Supporters of the Arts seek original artwork in all visual mediums.

Selected artwork will be displayed on October 14, 2021, at the Haunted Art Show and Wine Tasting at the Haunted Theater in Shelley (172 S. State, Shelley, ID 83274).

Artwork will be for sale, with proceeds being split (at rates specified below) between artists and the Shelley Supporters of the Arts nonprofit unless an artist wishes to donate artwork with all proceeds going to the Shelley Supporters of the Arts.

The Shelley Supporters of the Arts is a nonprofit fundraising organization that helps local artists, schools and other organizations pay for the development and display of art in Bingham and Bonneville counties.

Call Type: Art Show and Wine Tasting Fundraiser

Call Eligibility: Bingham or Bonneville County residents or artists who can prove a familial link to either county.

Dates: July 21, 2021–October 1, 2021

Deadlines

Early deadline: September 1, 2021, artist keeps 50% of profits

Regular deadline: September 21, 2021, artist keeps 45% of profits

Final deadline: October 1, 2021, artist keeps 40% of profits

Process

Submit a high-resolution photograph or scan of your art to shelleyartsidaho@gmail.com with the subject line “Haunted Art Submission†by the final deadline of October 1, 2021.

If your art is selected, we will call you and discuss details of the event and the level of proceeds if art is sold. If art is not sold, it can either be returned to the artist, donated to the Shelley Supporters of the Arts, or donated to Lost Souls Attractions, a fellow sponsor of this fundraising event.

Payment for art sold will be sent November 9, 2021, through the US Postal Service via check.

By submitting your artwork, you agree to let the Shelley Supporters of the Arts, and Lost Souls Attractions, and the Community Pioneer, use images of your artwork on their websites and for promotion of future years’ events. In most cases, but not all, the artist’s name will be included in promotions. If contacted, the Shelley Supporters of the Arts agrees to inform any interested party of the artist and share the contact information of said artist.

Shelley Supporters of the Arts and Lost Souls Attractions are not liable for any damage or defacing of artwork. Delivery and retrieval of artwork is the responsibility of the artist upon selection, and details of such will be given to the artist upon acceptance of artwork.
