Seven candidates running for office in Idaho coming to Shelley Friday and Saturday
SHELLEY — Idaho candidates for Governor, Lt. Governor, Idaho Attorney General, State Superintendant, Idaho Secretary of State and United States Congress are coming to Shelley Friday and Saturday.
On Friday, March 18, gubernatorial candidate Ed Humphreys (R-Eagle) will be in Shelley for a town hall event. Then on Saturday, U.S. Congressional candidate Bryan Smith (R-Idaho Falls), current Lt. Governor and gubernatorial candidate Janice McGeachin (R-Idaho Falls) and Idaho Attorney General candidate and former U.S. Congressman Raul Labrador (R-Eagle) are visiting Shelley.
The town hall event with Humphreys will be at 9 a.m. on Friday at #Treats in Shelley at 326 N State St.
Saturday’s candidate meet and greet will be at the Shelley Fire Station’ training room, at 585 W Fir St. beginning at 3 p.m.
Locals will also have a chance to meet Lt. Governor candidate and current Idaho State Representative Priscilla Giddings (R-White Bird), Idaho Secretary of State candidate and current Idaho State Representative Dorothy Moon (R-Stanley) (who is slated to attend) and Idaho State Superintendant Candidate Bandon Hurst (R-Boise) at Friday’s event.
