Joanne “Jo” Dye obituary

Joanne “Jo†Irene Dye, 64, of Pocatello, Idaho, passed away on April 16, 2023, at Portneuf Medical Center, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on March 23, 1959, in Pocatello, Idaho. She is the daughter of Therral Robert and Vada Marlene (Twitchell) Dye.

After high school, she worked in various job capacities. She particularly enjoyed being a nanny to a local family and early tech positions at IOmega in Roy Ut. and AMI in Pocatello. While living in Ogden, Ut., she met Terry “Pete†Murray, and they had two children, Sierra Marlena (Murray) Greenfield of Pocatello and Cody James Murray of Evansville, Indiana. After having children, she took pleasure in being a full-time stay-at-home mother.

In addition to her mother, she is predeceased by two brothers, Roger Therral Dye and Robert Leroy Dye. She is survived by her father and children, her partner Sheri Leigh Shaw, four granddaughters, Kimi JoLynn and Emma Ray Cotterell, Vanellope Hazel and Jessica Ann Greenfield, a brother Ronald Hyrum Dye, a Sister Jolene Renae (Dye) Schiers, and many nieces and nephews.

It was Joanne’s wish to have no funeral or formal service. Arrangements have been made at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Rd. Chubbuck Idaho.
