Shelley Police Log: Feb. 16-22
The Shelley Police Department handles dozens of emergency calls each week, deploying Police, fire, and medical services. Community Pioneer omits individuals’ names and specific addresses. Otherwise, the incident log is reported as written. The following are most of the incidents reported and responded to by the Shelley Police Department between Feb. 16-22.
Feb 16
8:19 a.m. Accident — Shelley High School — Student hit the stop sign in the parking lot. No injuries, no road blockage.
9:31 a.m. Fraud — S Emerson Ave — Instagram fraud.
11:46 a.m. Racing — N Highway 91.
Feb 17
6:12 p.m. Suspicious Circumstance — Hidden Treasures — White passenger car parked in front of store that drove into middle road, occupied by female almost hit an employee yelling at them.
6:28 p.m. Welfare Check — W Maple St — (Name removed) is in Fort Hall custody, see extension.
Feb 18
8:10 a.m. Accident — Meadowlark Dr & N Park Ave — Involved in minor vehicle accident, older green Subaru and brown Chevy Silverado.
Feb 19
5:27 a.m. Suspicious Circumstance — W Maple St — RP states there is a loud car outside the apartment complex. RP believes it’s an older model Honda. RP is worried for her safety. RP would like to be contacted via land-line.
Feb 20
12:22 a.m. Unwanted Subject — W Fir St — RP is at her friend’s house, and her friend’s ex-boyfriend (name removed) is trying to break into the residence and will not leave.
1:09 a.m. Information (unfounded) –S Milton Ave — RP states that her friend (name removed) is threatening and harassing the RP in person and over the phone. States she has some of her property and won’t give it back, is also threatening the RP’s children. States they’re fighting over a male named (name removed).
Feb 21
3:27 p.m. Request Assistance — Holley St — Requesting to speak with an officer regarding a possible scam on her messenger account.
5:04 p.m. Bus Violation — E Center St & N Milton Ave — Silver Toyota (license plate number removed) drove through the stop arm at 4:15 p.m. this date.
5:27 p.m. Suspicious Circumstance (unfounded) — W Maple St — RP’s believes there’s someone knocking on her door off and on for approx an hour, can still hear it. Her ex was supposed to be sending somebody (name removed) to pick up furniture from her but RP does not believe it’s him.

10:41 a.m. Civil Stand-by — E Elm St — Questions about parents holding her mail.
2:36 p.m. Fraud — Good To Go — Got a counterfeit $50 bill on Saturday.
