Shelley Police Log: Feb 23 – March 2

Feb 23
4:06 p.m. Petit Theft — Hidde Treasures — At the police department to report a theft that occurred yesterday. RP has video footage of the incident.
5:19 p.m. Request Assistance — E Maple St — RP stating their daughter (name removed) said she is coming to the house to get her stuff. RP would like to speak to an officer about what he is able to do about this situation.
5:26 p.m. Civil Complaint — E Elm St — Four a civil standby while she gathers mail from the residence. Residence belongs to her father.
Feb 24
11:11 a.m. Mental Health Issues — Shelley High School — Have a female causing a disturbance.
2:30 p.m. Agency Assist — W Maple — (Name removed) ran towards maple heading south.
4:33 p.m. Accident — Hard Times II — Black DOD truck vs silver passenger car no injuries – slight blockage.
5:13 p.m. Wanted Subject (unfounded) — Broulim’s — Possible wanted subject inside the store – last seen wearing blue sweatshirt, jeans, black gloves and beanie, unknown name. He appears to be hispanic.
6:21 p.m. Accident — N State St & E Center St — Minor two-vehicle accident involving red and a silver passenger car.
Feb 25
8:28 a.m. Accident — W Center St & N State St — 2 vehicle crash. No injuries. There is blockage in one lane. Red minivan vs silver Voslkwagon passenger car.
9:54 a.m. Request Assistance — W Maple — RP states that she is the new manager of the apartments and would like to speak with an officer regarding having a K-9 come to the property.
10:26 a.m. Fraud — W Oak St — RP states that she has been frauded out of approximately $1,550. RP would like to meet with an officer.

4:03 p.m. Wanted Subject — W Maple St — RP stated they were given wanted fugitive papers from a bond agent on a (name removed). Subject is currently at the above location.
4:36 p.m. Possession – Controlled Substance (arrested) — N State St & E Pine St.
Feb 26
6:13 a.m. Animal Complaint — Holley St — RP reporting she woke to her front door being open and her male Chocolate Lab with a camo collar (log appears unfinished).
6:55 a.m. Request Assistance — W Maple St — RP is scared to walk to her vehicle as she believes someone is watching her. Would just like an officer to drive through the complex.
7:59 p.m. Request Assistance — W Maple St — Rp says her upstairs neighbors were evicted a month ago and she does not believe that the apartment has been rented out. There is someone in the apartment that shouldn’t be and being very loud.
10:41 p.m. Welfare Check — N Park Ave — RP is requesting a welfare check on her husband (name removed). RP is in the hospital and her father (name removed) and her mother went to the house to check on (husband) and their infant son. WHen they go there the infant was out in the vehicle with it running and (husband) had no recollection of leaving his son out there. (Husband) was also highly intoxicated and began threatening to kill himself and his father-in-law. Grandparents took the infant with them. RP is wanting (husband) checked on.
Feb 27
12:25 a.m. Open Door — Shelley High School.
9:44 a.m. Request Assistance — Shelley Police Department — Subject at PD to meet with an officer.
7:56 p.m. Welfare Check — Hummingbird Ln — RP’s daughter (name removed) has been fighting with her boyfriend (name removed). RP just got a text from her saying send help and then set another one saying everything is fine, and is now no longer answering her phone. There is a 3-year-old that may bee there as well RP would like contacted via land-line.
10:44 p.m. Wanted Subject — W Fir St — RP believes John Moreida has a warrant and is there with the RP. Disconnected.
March 1
11:43 a.m. Recovered Stolen Property — W Fir St — Yesterday RP’s white cargo trailer with wrap on it “Jones Group/Teller Williams” was stolen from their office in Idaho Falls, broker just found it in Shelley. Blocking traffic. RP’s husband (name and phone number removed is en route from Idaho Falls in gray Ford Tremor.
6:06 p.m. Welfare Check — Hidden Treasures — Male subject kneeling down on the grass by the above location wearing a blue coat and PJ pants.
7:54 p.m. Animal Complaint — E Center St & N Lincoln Ave — RP just hit a dog, is in black Nissan Morano nearby the dog. Believes the dog is deceased, it is in the roadway.
8:15 p.m. Civil Protection Order Violation — W Oak St — 3rd party. (Name removed) brought over snacks and left them on the front porch for (name removed) and banged on her window. He took off after that.
March 2
10:50 a.m. Animal complaint — Edwards Ave — Barking dogs at this location. Don’t know if anyone is home. Believe there is a cat in the tree that the dogs are barking at. RP does not wish to be contacted.
