Sponsorships

On average, between 10,000 and 15,000 people attend Spud Day. That means the event is a great opportunity for advertising.

There are four sponsorship levels ranging from up to $250 to $1200 or more.

Those giving $250 or less will get a thank you with the business’ name in the Community Pioneer.

Those giving $1200 or more will get to display a company banner of any size at the main entertainment stage, the business’ logo on the Spud Day website under the Sponsor tab, free entry into the parade, free booth space, an MC announcement from the stage, business’ name on storefront fliers promoting Spud Day and a thank you in the Community Pioneer.

All proceeds go to benefit the Kiwanis Club of Shelley and the community service projects they support.

To apply to become a sponsor, visit the Spud Day Sponsorship web page on the Idaho Spud Day website and download the application form. The form can be either mailed to PO Box 461, Shelley ID, 83274 or emailed to Chris Zwiefel at chris@zzconsulting.com by September 1.

For questions, email or call Zwiefel at 208-521-1678.

Parade Floats

The Spud Day Parade begins at 10 a.m. on September 18th with judging between 8:30 and 9:30. Entries this year should be decorated to reflect the parade theme, ‘Wild About Spuds.’ Best interpretations of the theme can win $250 for the grand prize, $100 for first place and $50 for second place.

To enter the parade, visit the Spud Day Parade web page on the Idaho Spud Day website and download the parade form. The form should be filled out and either mailed to PO Box 461, Shelley ID, 83274 or emailed to spuddayparade@gmail.com by September 1.

There is a $40 entry fee per vehicle for all commercial entries. That fee can be paid online.

Any questions can be sent to spuddayparade@gmail.com.
