Aug. 10 Shelley City Council Meeting
SHELLEY — Longtime City Councilman Earl Beattie will officially tender his resignation from the council at tonight’s City Council meeting. Mayor Stacey Pascoe will announce the person he is appointing to serve out the rest of Beattie’s term.
Also on the agenda, the Shelley City Council will hear from Jacqueline Wittwer with the Shelley Supporters of the Arts who is asking for permission to paint a mural on a pavilion at the City Park. She is also addressing the council about an upcoming wine tasting fundraiser.
Amy Buffett will address the council about getting higher wages for employees at the city pool.
Rueben Estrada is asking the Council to change Concessionaire Franchise Regulations.
Sewer board member Jeff Kelley will discuss forming a sewer district.
The council will also consider adopting an ordinance to increase wages for the mayor and council members.
