Shelley Police Log: Jan. 19-26

The Shelley Police Department handles dozens of emergency calls each week, deploying Police, fire, and medical services. Community Pioneer omits individuals’ names and specific addresses. Otherwise, the incident log is reported as written. The following are most of the incidents reported and responded to by the Shelley Police Department between Jan. 19-26.

Jan 19

8:45 p.m. Grand Theft — Broulim’s — Gold Pontiac was stolen from the parking lot left running parked near the entrance.

Jan 20

11:12 a.m. Animal Complaint — W Fir St — RP states that there are 2 Great Danes outside that appear to be very cold.

2:09 p.m. Unwanted Subject — E Center St — Mother is refusing to leave the property.

2:49 p.m. Suspicious Circumstance — Hard Times II — They were advised to contact law enforcement if they saw any activity with the UHaul parked behind the store. Advised there is a gold Chevy truck with over cab camper with one subject possibly a female that are inside the UHaul, back door open and ramp is down on the UHaul subject has gray short hair.

4:15 p.m. Accident — E Center St & N State St — Blue BMV stated a silver car reended them – no injuries – currently in the intersection.

12:18 p.m. Recovered Stolen Property — W Pine St — Gold Pontiac car parked next to a white van. Pontiac has been there since last Wednesday (license plate number removed).

1:12 p.m. Accident — W Oak St — Someone back into RP’s white Chevy SUV by neighbor’s GMC pick up.

2:43 p.m. Suspicious Circumstance (unfounded) — W Oak St — RP stated they came back found little bloody bones – bigger bloody bones stated they are in front of her house and would like someone to respond.

2:23 p.m. Child Custody Interference — Shelley — RP stated that his ex-wife is not allowing him to see their child – stated they live close to the skate park in Shelley unknown exact address.

Jan 23

1:22 p.m. Animal Complaint — Subway — Medium size brown dog – by the railroad tracks across from Subway.

2:46 p.m. Harassment Phone — Opal Ct — Stated that his son’s girlfriend keeps getting harassed by a male via text keeps requesting nude pictures.

4:25 p.m. Suspicious Circumstance — W Fir St — RP stated there small kids breaking into vehicles ages 11-13 searching through a black and blue truck.

5:40 p.m. Threats-Harassment — N Byron Ave — RP’s husband was in front of the house walking, and a white SUV was recklessly driving all over the road, and then stopped by the RP’s husband and the male driving was yelling profanities and threatening to kill him. (License plate removed). This occurred 30 ago and then went towards the apartments on Maple.

9:04 p.m. Request Assistance — S Byron Ave — RP’s ex-husband, RP’s daughter wants to leave. RP has custody and he’s there. Is outside. Requesting officers respond.

Jan 24

12:41 p.m. Petit-Theft — Family Dollar — Requesting an officer for a shoplifting event. Suspect is currently on scene – female unknown name. She has items in her wheelchair.

6:12 p.m. Civil Complaint — W Maple St — Son 15-year-old open CPS case placed with her a week ago and the father (name removed) is en route to pick him up however due to the CPS case that needed officers to witness and have report of the exchange. No CPO/NCO in effect.

Jan 25

7:52 a.m. Accident — Shelley High School — 2 Vehicle crash. White Honda Pilot vs a red Jeep. No injuries. No blockage.

8:04 a.m. Disorderly Conduct — W Center St — RP states that his 14-year-old stepson is refusing to go to school. Child is breaking items. Not being violent towards the RP. Suspect currently in his room.

3:37 p.m. Agency Assist — Hummingbird Ln — RP was advised by the Cypress Texas PD to contact and file a report with Shelley PD against her ex (name removed). They would not take a report over the phone and requested she report it local and have the contact the department.

3:40 p.m. Information — W Fir St — RP states that her ex’s girlfriend just shoved her.

Jan 26

1:12 p.m. City Ordinance Violation — Holley St — Two people going door to door with permit. Two WFA, black coat yellow scarf, southbound on Holley Towards Robald. Stated they did not know if they have a permit. RP does not wish to be contacted.
