Shelley and Firth to merge into one city; anonymous sources claim

SHELLEY — Unnamed sources tell Community Pioneer that city leaders from Firth and Shelley, in a closed-door meeting Thursday evening, decided to merge the two cities.

Our sources say that both mayors and city council members from Shelley and Firth gathered at Shelley City Hall Thursday, March 31, and debated late into the night on whether or not to merge the two cities.

City leaders allegedly decided to combine the two cities into one by April 1, 2023. The new city will be named the City of April Fools.
