Sunrise teacher unexpectedly passes

SHELLEY – Sunrise Elementary teacher passes away unexpectedly leaving School staff and children saddened.

Second-grade teacher Amanda Reading unexpectedly passed away on March 8. She was a teacher at Sunrise. She has been a full-time teacher there for the last year.

“She was a wonderful person and gave 100% to her students. She loved her students and they really loved her. She’s definitely going to be missed,” Principal Robyn Elswood said.

Both Amber Larsen and Mark Graham, school psychologists and counselors, will be on hand to support the students.

    Amanda was my step mother and she and i got closer over time
